There's been something I've been wondering about for a while, but I'm not sure if this is the right tag to ask in, but...
Whenever I listen to music, the key usually sounds like some sort of mood and color. I'm pretty sure that the mood thing is normal (it sounds happy or sad depending on if it's major or minor, I think), but I was wondering about the second thing. With most songs, I can tell immediately if it sounds "warm" or "cool" (closer to the reds/orange/yellows or greens/blues/purples), and with certain songs, I can actually attribute a specific color to it (i.e. Magic by Mystery Skulls is blue, Shake it Off is orange, etc.)
I was looking it up, and I know that one form of Synesthesia is associating music notes with colors, but since I don't immediately associate every song with a color - just a warmth - I wasn't sure if the thing I'm doing counts. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
