Well, this was commonplace back at the office, so it was going to be commonplace in the Hive as well. After Maya asked Phoenix for what seemed to be a thousand times, he finally complied and decided to buy her probably the most expensive (and not… vegetarian) burger in the store, while Phoenix just got his chicken sandwich. It was satisfying enough for him, but hey.
“You know, next time you could just ask instead of, you know, ordering me.” Still, it was good to talk to Maya for a while. Things have been pretty busy for Phoenix, so he didn’t really have any time to talk to her. So it would be a good start just to get things on check.
