Haha oh my gosh!!!😭 NO!!!!! I’m definitely not implying that Nancy is a snack or that Joe can just “take her”!!!! That’s such a wild interpretation🤮. I literally mean actual snacks!!

Charlie literally says it: “Yeah, I brought snacks, until Joe took them.”

That’s it, nothing more.

BUT here’s why it caught my attention… even though I don’t ship Stancy at all (Nancy and Steve just aren’t good as a couple😅)

I love Nancy and I care about her as a character. For me, neither Jonathan nor especially Steve are good matches for her (i have talked about this in another post, here), because being with either of them would hold her back from growing as a person. She has dreams and ideals that are very different from theirs, and being in a relationship with someone who can’t truly align with her ambition or who’s afraid to express their differences, would create tension.

Steve doesn’t really see that his dreams might not match Nancy’s, while Jonathan does see it but fears expressing himself, and that combination can be dangerous. It could lead to regret, resentment, and long-term rifts if they stayed together.

That is why I see Ronance as a potentially stable and healthy relationship!!

What really made me pause, though, was the reaction afterward. Joe literally froze in surprise after Charlie said it, and then they recorded Natalia’s reaction and she’s smirking!! That felt so ironic and sarcastic, to me clearly like an inside joke referencing something else. Otherwise, why would they bother capturing their reactions like that??👀

So yeah, I wasn’t implying anything creepy or literal. I’m just saying that Charlie’s little comment, plus the reactions, made me raise an eyebrow. Even if I don’t ship Stancy, my love and respect for Nancy as a character (the same with Robin, Steve and Jonathan, with all the others) make me watch every interaction closely, because I care about how her story unfolds 😭😂. Totally still in denial, but my spidey senses are tingling!!
