Not just the comics either tho. I know that in Ultimate Spiderman the cartoon Dead pool had a whole episode with just him, Spidey and Taskmaster. It feels like people were just...under a rock or something before Tom Holland??
YEAH?? ? first off i wonโt ever blame anyone for getting into spider-man because of tom holland, spidey was always my favorite marvel hero but hollandโs role was the catalyst that got me so INTO it this past year. but iโฆโฆresearched the character. and found out about his age fluctuations over the years, and the spider-verse, and all his relationships that weโll never see in the mcu (i found a fuckin ten minute video detailing every single girlfriend heโs ever had. going into it i only knew about 3, the mainstream gals that everyone knows. if that doesnโt get my point acrossโฆ).ย and i did thatย so i would know what i was doing when my inevitable fanart started. so i WOULDNโTย be the type of person who goes around saying weird shit like โpeter parker and johnny storm donโt know each other how dare you ship them over peter/ned or hisย actual friendsโ. like, stay within the world of tomโs spidey and the mcu if you want to, more power to you. but stop trying to gatekeep/attack people who branch outย alksdnf itโs that simple
