OH LOOK SOMETHING IN MY ASKBOX THAT ISN'T SPAM. INSTEAD, IT'S SAM. O GLORIOUS DAY! (Shut up I din't turn my brain on this morning.)

I would have to give an honorary mention to Stiles and Scott (or at least Stiles' unwavering loyalty and patience in dealing with Scott's wolf pup dumbassery), but the main prize belongs to Lydia and Jackson. As much as I was unimpressed by the ~her looove is the key to his redemption~ thing in the finale (though the fact that there was an actual key involved was neat), their relationship is fascinating to me. They have some interesting power dynamics going on and I love that underneath all the superficiality and even after the breakup and Jackson's jerkfaceness and Lydia's "well fuck him I'm still awesome" they do actually seem to care pretty deeply about each other when push comes to shove. Plus, since I enjoy the way the show works with popular jock/popular girl tropes and stereotypes, I also like how those same kinds of things work for them as a (popular) couple.
