Does anyone else find it odd that despite Rosy improving considerably with portraying Black features (or Black hair at the very least, with Sean getting dreadlocks in the spin-off and Lia having braids in Season 2) Max is still Ambiguously Brown. He's voiced by a Black voice actor, so why not just make him also explicitly Black.

I do wonder how Max might react to the fact that, for a good chuck of highschool, Jake was a bully. Like obviously he's not anymore by the end of the series, and Max wasn't around to see Jake be a bully, but I am thinking he'd feel a little weird about it if Jake ever admits that to him.

Max has a Black voice actor (Belsheber Rusape Jr btw) and that's pretty cool. That being said, it kind of makes Max's character design falling into 'racially ambiguous brown' kind of suck more. Like, it's good that his VA is a man of colour at least but it's still not great. Him also having straight up orange eyes doesn't really help either.

Dreaming of a future where Max overtakes Drew in terms of popularity.

Something about Max forming and leading a band and naming it after himself and Jake spending a good chunck of Highschool trying to hide his passion for Music. Max openly embraced his passion for Music while Jake tried to hide it. Do you think their middle school experiences paralleled each other. Do you think where Jake started trying to fit in when Highschool started, Max decided 'screw it, if they're gonna see me as weird anyways then why not embrace it' and started his band. Rosy give me the parallels between these two pleeeeaaaase.
