I’m curious about the timeline. In Jonner’s timeline, does Hank come later? His rise to power is when he’s a toddler, so how does that work?

I like how you can see how dangerous Hank is when using his powers, like the sonic booms with his speed. There was a post I saw about how this Superman doesn’t have them, showing gentleness rather than power. The sonic boom towards the end is the first time we see something like that from Clark.

Lex immediately throwing Lois in front of him is so good for characterization. He did it immediately, I don’t even think he thought about Lois’s connection to Hank.

I love the way Jonner throws stuff, I wonder if he’s used to fighting against enemies with Kryptonite or if he’s just really good at thinking on the fly (pun intended)

I knew it was coming but I genuinely cried when Jon and Kara talked about who she was to him in the future. I need one billion fanart of her death now.

I do like how they change how Lex’s path goes. When he loses his power, he saves the world. When he keeps it, he’s what destroys it. No matter what, he goes bald.

I’m imagining that Jonner shows up like every other week like “hey guys so another apocalypse started, can we hug and then fix that?”

I THINK LOIS IS MILDLY ATTRACTED TO KARA which honestly who isn’t. I mean she called her desirable. I’m imagining a news article saying that Supergirl was seen with Lois on a date, since that’s what it looked like.

The flirty science questions Giganta asks Jimmy is great.

Jimmy’s casual attitude about becoming a furry against his will. I love callbacks to the silver age stuff where crap would just happen to Jimmy constantly. Randomly gaining superpowers is like his version of Lois jumping/falling off buildings.

Also, Clark just scooping up Siobhan and carrying her while fighting Hank. And asking for the tech back. I love Intergang in this, they’re so silly.

…so um. So that’s why Jonner doesn’t know what Lois and Clark do, their favorite movies, or why Clark wears glasses. It’s um. It’s interesting, for sure. Still wish it was Kon, they could very easily have said he’s a clone from the future.

I think it’s interesting that it was Lex, Jimmy, and Albert in the future, and nobody else. Where is Lex’s wife (Slade). I’m guessing it’s an apocalypse caused by Hank and stuff. Konathon is gonna have a rough time with Luthor being evil in the present, since his Lex is on his side.

I think the use of names for Jon is significant. Shockingly, this is not me ranting about the whole Jonner/Konathon situation.

In the end credits of E3, he’s Jon Kent. Makes sense, that’s his name and everything. In E4 that’s how he introduces himself, and Kara calls him Jon-El like she calls Clark Kal-El. Again, makes sense. But then in E5, we see that Kara was the one to raise him. This likely means that Future Kara used the name Jon Kent for him, rather than or along with Jon-El. My guess is that, in the future (and possibly within the show as well), Kara starts to understand that Clark Kent is Clark’s name, and the fact he didn’t even know the name Kal-El for almost his entire life affects his identity, even after wearing his family crest. I personally think even a Clark this disconnected from being Kryptonian (compared to comics) would still want Jon to have a Kryptonian name, even if he doesn’t use it often. Long story short, it seems like Kara is going to understand the difference between Clark Kent and Kal-El.

Lois: I’m so glad we talked things out and agreed that we want to take things slow, and not talk about moving or having a kid for at least a few years

Clark: Yeah it’s so great that there won’t be any complications with this, and we can settle and take our time.
