90 years ago today (August 7, 1933), a charming if unremarkable summer stock theatre opened its doors right next to the beach in Matunuck, Rhode Island. In and of itself, I donāt know that Iāve ever have marked the date, there being probably hundreds of similar little small town resort theatres around the country ā BUT for the fact that itās located in my hometown and I worked there one summerā¦
