MATTHEWSON RENAISSANCE AU
1. Budding painter Danny who is starting to gather attention, but isn’t used to it.
2. Since he’s used to having his work over-looked, now that he’s more in the public eye he is more worried about what people are going to think now that he knows people are going to see it. He ends up having a very hard time finishing a painting instead of scrapping them halfway through.
3. That is, until he is introduced to this beautiful woman who he has a strong urge to paint. He’s just itching to go home and grab his paintbrush, but Charlie is not letting him leave her party that early.
4. He doesn’t get the chance to talk to her at the party, much to his disappointment.
5. A friend of Charlie’s needs a place to stay later on after the death of her brother and of course Charlie lets her stay with her. Charlie tells Danny that the friend staying with her was at the party, but he probably doesn’t remember her. Danny remembers her alright and his hopes go up as Charlie describes what he is sure is the girl he was so into. He now has a way to meet her (and potentially see her regularly).
6. When he meets Heather she comments that he probably doesn’t remember her or didn’t notice her at the party (which Danny thinks is outrageous), but she says she noticed him. She’s a fan of his work and had gone to the party hoping to meet him after Charlie had mentioned he would be there.
