Enya’s been so quiet.. hhhgod, when did it get so hard to remember their earlier interactions? Or even more recent ones? They don’t know what she wants. They don’t know what she needs.  Most of the things she loves are either so simple she could get them herself, or so complex that they don’t know the first thing about them anyway.

      You can’t just gift someone a handful of dirt.

They settle for a small painting of a rabbit skull, to match that first drawing that drew them together- or was it a skull at all? Maybe just a head? Oh...

There’s not much accuracy to their original drawing, the specific visual of that one having been long hazed over.. but they add some of the colors they know she likes! Bright and striking.

At the end of it, it feels like a stupid gift. They add a blue amethyst they’ve had for a time, and it makes it seem a little less so.
