If you have asked me this at the beginning of Book 3, I would say without any dout:

But in Book 3 both character has grow up so much:

Mako is going through his own “purgatory”, with karma slapping him for his relationship mistakes. He is treated as any other character, has character development and an actual friendship with Korra and Asami and he is caring for Bolin again. I can say that this is the first time I truly like him since ep04se01

Korra have had such a great character development, and she is finally listening before punshing things. I love the fact that she is FINALLY BBF with Asami, shows actual affection to Bolin as friend, and is focused on what is important and not in petty relationship dramas.

Makorra breakup was the best think that happened to this characters and the show in general, because it liberated their characters from the love triangle of doom that dragged the entery show, but also IT IS ALLOWING THE CHARACTERS TO CREATE A MORE NATURAL AND DEEP RELATIONSHIP.

I can see that Mako has unresolved feelings for Korra, I can see he has a special place in her heart, and if they keep this kind of interaction (without interfering with the main plot or hurting other charactes) I will be able to believe that they could work as a couple by the end of Book 4.  

Still not shipping it, but I will be “ok” with them if they continue in this direction and they will gain a:
