Per me è stato “dang!” dopo trent’anni riatraversare quelle song. Canzoni che ho cantato e composto insieme ai Violet Eves tra il 1984 e il 1988,  un tempo lontanissimo. Sceglierle anzi ri-sceglierle. Attraversare e rileggere momenti, paesaggi del mio percorso.   Un tuffo, un volo retrospettivo ma in un nuovo orizzonte, portare alla luce l'essenza di quelle canzoni, qui e ora. E’ andata che ho raccolto l'invito di Renzo Serafini, ex chitarrista e co-autore dei Violet Eves e fondatore di MAT Factory che ha sponsorizzato l'album, prodotto e curato la direzione artistica, chiamando agli arrangiamenti Tony Canto per una rilettura in acustico, minimale. It was so “dang!” for me after thirty years, re-cross those songs. Songs that I sang and composed together with the Violet Eves between 1984 and 1988, another time, very far. Choosing or rather re-choosing them. Crossing and reading again moments, landscapes of my path. A dive, a retrospective flight but in a new horizon, to reveal and bring to light the essence of those songs, here and now. The fact was that I follow the invitation of Renzo Serafini, guitarist and co-author of the Violet Eves and founder of MAT Factory which sponsored completely and produced the album and lead the artistic direction, calling arranger Tony Canto for a in acoustic, minimal re-elaboration.
