Good morning! ☀️ 🦓 Bought this melon pan @akiboulangercafe in Paris, tried this for the first time. This one has no filling but still tastes delicious (price: about 2,50€). Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Melon bun is kind of a round shaped bread, soft inside and crispy like the crumbles of a cake outside. It looks a bit like a cantaloupe melon, that’s the reason it got its name. I personally prefer the melon matcha version which has a slightly thin cream or sth in it and a rich matcha flavor... but they’re also more expensive (about 3€). Sry they were too good, couldn’t take a picture anymore 😅. 5/5⭐️ However these buns are quite big. I guess you can’t get melon pan so easy, at least I’ve never seen a bakery in Germany or also in Paris before that sold melon pan.
