Matcha green tea affogato with coconut ice cream 🌿
Matcha Cookies bring the flavors of travel to your table, elevating your cookie game. Matcha's earthy notes combined with the sweetness of white chocolate chips make for a delectable treat.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons matcha powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the flour, baking powder, matcha powder, and salt together in a bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a different bowl until it is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing only until everything is well combined. The white chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, place about 2-inch-diameter drops of cookie dough on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Press down a little on each cookie with the back of the spoon. After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. After they've cooled, these matcha cookies are great with coffee or tea.

Matcha Magic: Why This Green Wonder Is Great for Your Health 🌿🌿🌿
If you’ve ever strolled past a café and spotted a bright green latte, chances are you’ve seen matcha, the vibrant powdered tea that’s taken the wellness world by storm. But, matcha isn’t just pretty to look at, it’s packed with amazing health benefits that can help you feel more energized, focused, and balanced.
Unlike regular green tea, where you steep the leaves and toss them away, matcha is made from finely ground whole tea leaves. That means you’re getting all the nutrients, and a big antioxidant boost, in every cup. These antioxidants, especially a powerful one called EGCG, help protect your body from everyday stress, support your immune system, and even promote healthy skin.
One of the best things about matcha is the way it gives you energy. Thanks to its mix of caffeine and L-theanine, matcha provides a calm, steady alertness rather than the jittery buzz you might get from coffee. It’s perfect for busy mornings or that mid-afternoon slump when you need a pick-me-up without the crash.
Matcha may also gently support metabolism and fat burning, making it a great addition to a healthy lifestyle when paired with good nutrition and regular exercise.
And beyond the physical perks, there’s something soothing about the ritual of preparing matcha - whisking the powder into hot water and watching that frothy green foam appear. It’s a small moment of mindfulness that can help you slow down and breathe in a busy day.
Whether you enjoy it as a latte, smoothie, or even in your baking, matcha is an easy and delicious way to give your body (and mind) a gentle boost. 💚💚💚
