AMK Technology is currently looking for “Master Scheduler” to be deployed at a project with our prominent client - one of the giants from Technology industry.
Job Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Project Duration - 12 months
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Serve as Schedule Management subject matter expert
Promote disciplined knowledge exchange and quality application through technical coaching
Contribute to improvement of Schedule Management Work Process and leveraging of learning experiences
Provide recommendations on cycle time reduction opportunities and techniques as applied to scheduling
Analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and assist in the development of conceptual schedules to evaluate various alternates or anticipated schedule challenges
Develop and maintain comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Start-up / Commissioning Project Stages
Maintain schedule during the project life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered
Utilize project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule
Perform staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations and ensure resource-leveling supports the project strategy
Lead project managers and teams in forecasting schedule challenges and offer analyses and solutions to complete the project on schedule
Perform critical path analysis to determine problem areas in regards to project schedule and resource overloads and offer alternative courses of action to the project team
Evaluate project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making and recovery plans
Work with cost management to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates
Apply established schedule management practices to ascertain critical schedule issues and recommend corrective action
Required Qualifications:-
Strong facilitation skills, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment / team
Nationality preference: Malaysian
