I remember I used to love quotes. I used to read them all the time, search for them, post them on my fb page, share them with friends and family. I admired how a couple of words could cut so deep, how powerful they were, how they could quickly describe exactly how I felt. One day I shared a quote with a close friend of mine, she looked down at my phone and didn’t say anything for what felt like an eternity. She looked up at me and said “Vicky, you should be making your OWN quotes.” Selective memory I guess, but I always remember that moment, How snapshots of a future where I created my own quotes filled my imagination, how amazing those thoughts made me feel. They were of course, quickly overtaken with the voice of negativity. “What makes you think you have a message which people want to hear?” “How would you ever even get your quotes out out into the world?” 

Changed Perspective: Do what lights the fire within your soul, for the purpose of soul expression. To respect yourself, to be yourself, to be happy. 

Do not do it seeking approval from people. If you do what you do, seeking approval from others, you will literally never find it. It’s so simple, it seems like common knowledge. Do not seek perfection. Do not seek recognition. Your true intentions will always be reflected in your work, they will always become apparent sooner or later. Maybe i’m maturing, maybe the commitment to self discovery has finally paid off, whatever the reason, I now realize why I do what I do. I express my soul in anyway my soul craves release. I go to yoga, I mediate, I read, I write, I ruminate, I write poems, come up with quotes, paint and do whatever else comes to mind at that moment. I am not responsible for the way my  creativity makes others feel. (However, I never use my work/words to be disrespectful to anyone.)

So the point is, I several idea’s for quotes which I wil be posting. They are my original idea’s unless I source the quote.

Undeniable. Strong. Authentic. Radiating itself through my presence.

Painting images within my heart, of everything I am meant to be.

Real versions of a life, I was purposefully created to live.

Rare moments of silence in the world, whisper my name,

Echoing deep into unknown places within me.

Awakening the unrecognizable.

Will I choose greatness?

Or, Muffle it’s cry for freedom with blankets woven together by threads of fear and hate?

Will I allow weighed down souls to drown in the ocean of true greatness?

Will I give beating hearts, a purpose to continue to beat?

Will I allow beings to drink from the river of abundance, which flow from all that is divine?

Quenching their thirst for a life truly lived?

A life where I am seen in my true form, my message is heard, etched into minds, hearts & history .

A life where my direction is clear and I walk hand in hand with clever heaven sent angels.

A life spent in paradise where the suns rays kiss my body, my toes stretch freely in the beach sand, and the sound of the ocean waves speak directly to my heart.

This is my life, I stand tall and graciously accept all that is mine.

Live truth, boldly create and thrive effortlessly.
