Atticus to Bebe: Dear Bebe, sometimes when we have to travel long distances, the red man and Buir will put these leathery things called saddles on our back. Now, don’t be alarmed, this is to ensure that Dani girl and Ava won’t be harmed by the spikes on our backs. It is an honor to ensure their safe travel because their legs are small like yours and will surely take longer if they were to walk on their own. One more thing, be careful not to jostle them off.
Oh my stars…saddle up kiddos 🥺 oh my goodness
Atticus and Bebe (now bigger of course) saddled up for their little charges whose legs are tired.
It will only be another year or so that they are going to be able to do this, Dani may be small but not forever the same goes for Ava.
“We get to be cowboys Ava!” Dani of course provides him with a hat, “ Patrolling the land and making sure to watch out for ruffians and vandals. I get to the the sheriff, you will be the newcomer on our patrol…and these two are more than just our helpers! Atticus and Bebe are junior deputies!”
Atticus moves at a nice pace keeping Danica in place as she keeps a look out about her, and Ava…
Bebe is excited! A chase perhaps? An ankle he can bite?! Poor Ava struggles to hang onto the massiff who breaks into fast runs and happy yips.
“Bebe careful! Bebe he is going to fall! Oh!”
Ava grunts as he hits the ground, the massiff whines (oh he should have listened to Atticus!) the little Chiss laughs, “ slow Bebe. Slow”
Atticus chuffs at Bebe who bows his head. Dani dusts off Ava and checks that he isn’t hurt. Satisfied she places his hat back on and nods, “ You’re a tough one, Deputy Ava!”
She reaches into Atticus’s saddle bag and pulls out a shiny badge…a Star one at that, “ Here you are you deserve it.”
Maul and Starlight watch this in confusion, “what’s a cowboy?”
