YEMEN WHERE: Marib Traditional Yemeni Cuisine (6981 Hechinger Dr, Springfield, VA 22151) My thoughts went from "Where is Yemen?" while driving there, to "My God, this place smells AMAZING!" when I first arrived to "How do I pronounce any of these words?" when I looked at the menu, until finally settling on "whoa... This is delicious!!" when I started eating. I got the qisher (spiced coffee with ginger and cinnamon) and ma'soob (banana mashed bread pudding type thing with heavy cream and honey). I think this was my first attempt at arabic food and it was a very yummy dessert/coffee stop. To answer the other questions: Yemen is on the tip of Saudi Arabia. And the waiter was very amused at my attempts to pronounce things and asked me if it was my first time, heh.
