extra tidbits:
orion is born lunarian, but he grew up rather malnourished and lost his wings! that's why i never draw him with any. he, however, did eat a devil fruit when he was younger, hence the plumicorns on his head.
deuce genuinely wasn't that physically strong when they met, but he gradually worked on it. Though during the timeskip and after that he worked extra extra hard to be able to carry orion in the future.
orion and ace grew up together, sort of — because orion lived with makino. i'll probably explain more eventually... anyway, orion tagged along with ace when they left dawn island, because he wanted to figure himself out. (i know boohoo its cliche)
