So I just went and watched Avengers: Infinity War. So hereâs my reaction to it...
I sobbed. I sobbed so hard that my crying was audible and I actually managed to cry off all my mascara. I sat in a theatre gross sobbing for 25 minutes straight. I am now feeling very emotionally drained.
Under the cut is my reaction to different parts of the film.
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
Lokiâs death: Something I didnât believe could actually happen... he was just always around in the marvel universe and now heâs just... not. I didnât know how to react I was so stunned
Heimdallâs death: I was very upset by this because he was such a generous and heroic character... he didnât deserve it
Gamoraâs death: WHAT IN THE- I WAS NOT IMPRESSED... she had so much love in her heart yet to give and she didnât get the opportunity to give it
Visionâs death: I knew this was coming since his first scene but I was still utterly shattered nevertheless... he was one of my favourite characters and I was distraught.
Wandaâs death: I... I have no words. Wanda Maximoff is my absolute favourite character in the marvel universe and I thought theyâd at least leave her alone after Vision, but no, they didnât. I started crying even harder after this.
Doctor Strangeâs death: Didnât really expect this, but was upset.
Samâs death: no!!!! and he was right in front of Rhodes!! thatâs not fair! I was thoroughly unimpressed
Peter Quillâs Death: :( thatâs all I can say.. or type... is :(
Peter Parkerâs Death: I have no words to describe how utterly distraught and devastated I was at his death. Peter was 19, 19!! And his voice when he said âMr Stark, I donât feel so good...â and then when he collapsed into Tonyâs arms and started crying and saying âI donât want to dieâ and he gripped onto Tony like he was trying to grip onto life. Absolutely killed me. He was so young and didnât deserve this... he just wanted to help people. I cannot put together a sentence that demonstrates how upset I am at his death.
Buckyâs death: ARE YOU KIDDING HE JUST MET UP WITH STEVE AGAIN! and that âSteve...â nooooo.... then Steve dropped to his knees :(
Mantisâ death: sweetie noooooo
Draxâs death: When I first typed his name it tried to change it to âdeathâ and that just made me more sad
TâChalla: This is one of the most heartbreaking deaths for me. He was only just introduced into the marvel universe on film, and his character was astonishing! He was so powerful but so humble and determined to fight for his country... and then he died. Okoyeâs face when he disintegrated was heartbreaking.Â
Grootâs death: ARE YOU KIDDING? Why wonât you just let the poor tree LIVE FOR GODS SAKE... he was just a sweet teenage tree :(
Nick Furyâs death: Upset. I was upset.
Agent Hillâs death: Not much of a reaction from me.
So there you have it... my very long post about my reaction to infinity war. I sobbed extremely hard in the theatre because I was so distressed and upset. So yeah, @ the Russo brothers, I have a few questions. The movie was so much worse (death wise) than I was expecting or ready for.
