I broke my nose when I was 7. I was running around in big circles in my basement, with my socks on tile floor. (I was playing power rangers, and the bad guy was chasing me, ok.) And I ended up slipping and I fell face first into the corner of this desk we had. I never had my nose fixed.

I’m a vegetarian, and I’m constantly annoyed by family members who say “but do you eat chicken?” “but you can eat fish because they’re not animals” “oh your food looks gross” “i just ate a salad, i feel like i’m a vegetarian just like you now”

I’ve dealt with depression, an eating disorder, and mild anxiety, for a long time (eating problems started at about 6, anxiety started young but i can’t pinpoint, and depression was about 17) and my family has no idea.

I actually have really strong will power. I’ve been biting my nails since I was a kid, and in February, I decided I didn’t want to anymore and I stopped. Same thing happened with smoking. I smoked for about 5 years and one day I just decided I was done. No cravings or cracking.

I’m 21 but I still feel like I’m 17. Since I didn’t go to college, I genuinely feel like time hasn’t passed since I was a senior in high school. It makes me feel weird when I’m expected to do adult things since I feel like I’m younger than I am.

I’m obsessed with half price books. I spend most of my money there, and I can’t rationalize spending $20 on a book now at barnes and noble when I can get like 4 books for that price at hpb.
