A lot of my serious/grump characters are coincidentally also good at dishing back as good as they get it. Seems to come with the territory.
I think the only ones that really consider themselves above such Nonsense are Damath and Corelo. Marnin too, maybe, but thatâs just because he canât be bothered to reply to any ribs with more than an eyeroll now.
Oh yeah and Gerrel, of course. He doesnât really do ribbing. It feels mean to him.
Marninâs aim is pretty âmehâ when he goes to the range.
fortunately he does not need to aim when it comes to the guns strapped to his vehicle. much like how airplane fighters really only needed to know when to press the big shoot button, itâs hard to mess up aiming when all you have to do is get the guy in front of you or lead him a little bit
Marninâs aim is pretty miserable on the hip draw, but sometimes he can do okay at skeet shooting. He was pleasantly surprised to learn he can hold ammunition and guns bare handed without anything exploding - turns out gunpowder doesnât really ignite from a bit of electricity jolting through it.
This is good, because trying to be precise while fiddling with a gun through a rubber glove is âslightlyâ difficult
