@marleyrxid asked for a cute starter
Dinner at Abby’s always put Teddy in a good mood. Despite their meal plans, despite his body’s constant need for energy that Exy demanded, he didn’t really eat right and this or eating out somewhere that wasn’t Chipotle (which Teddy couldn’t really afford) was the best he’d get all year. He was happy anyway, happy to be back in Palmetto and with the team, getting settled back into the tower and feeling quietly optimistic about the coming year. When summer came around, Teddy had been ready for a break but now he felt truly ready to get back into a routine and get back into practices and games.
So, in high spirits stemming from his satisfied longing of being back at college and comfort from some a pretty good dinner, Teddy looked as content as he felt when he wandered over to Marley. He smiled softly at her as he went to stand next to her, leaning against the kitchen counter. “So, about your wedding,” he said, “since I already called dibs on bein’ ring bearer, I wanted to get your approval on like...putting the rings on a pillow on Bacon’s back or something and having him do it. You and I both know he’d be so good at ring bearing.”
