“Hey, Mar. I got a question for ye and— yer gonnae wannae laugh and I need you tae naw.”

“You really threw this all together?” It sounded like a judgement, but it wasn’t. Nell was genuinely impressed.

“Hey, you need a chocolate bar?”

A little over twenty-four hours ago, Ludovic had found himself trapped underneath a burning building. Not only that, but he’d found himself stuck stomach first on the sharp end of a stick of wood. Needless to say, he’d seen better days. He’d gotten out of the Hospital Wing earlier that day, and had promptly sent an owl to both Emma and Marlene, requesting a poker night in the Room of Requirement. To his happiness, both of the girls responded with a ‘yes’. 

When seven o’clock rolled around, Ludovic made a trip to the kitchen to gather all of the essential materials for a night with his girls. He said hello to his favorite House Elves before heading back up to Ravenclaw Tower, where he then placed every bit of alcohol he could find into a basket, along with his weed. It was nearing eight o’clock when he finished, which gave him an hour to head up to the Room of Requirement to set up. 

He got it done in thirty minutes. With the poker table set up, along with the snacks, beverages, and weed, Ludovic sat back with his pipe to wait. He was just finishing up on his third bowl when the door swung open.
