LOCUST - Red EP. In Detail. EP #1 of 3. Created by #3. Given a project to create sleeve artwork for 3 EPs from Locust, I asked Mark Van Hoen to put together a mood board of imagery as a starting point. Mostly retro-future, Mark told me of his love for old video imagery - 'I like decayed and worn things, like old VHS and warped video, early ’80s, etc. I would also like to have a striking use of texture, light and depth.'   With the project being three EPS, I had the idea of calling the set RGB, referring to the old monitor/TV use of Red/Green/Blue to create the colour spectrum. Each EP will represent each colour, Red is the first release, with Green and Blue to follow.
