Markus is very strange.
So…he doesn’t show affection in the way most would expect. He wouldn’t even really catch him doing things most would when crushing on someone.
Markus doesn’t blush.
He doesn’t stutter.
And you won’t catch him starring at you either.
But, he doesn’t make sure you have plenty of ammo. When on rough missions he makes sure you’re close to him.
He scolds you if you fuck up your reloads too. You should’ve had it down by now…
It just mostly revolves the man being somewhat harder on you actually. It’s only because he wants you to be safe, mind you.
But on the rare moments off the battle field he’s awkward. Now that he has a moment he may briefly look you over.
Your pretty. (He won’t tell you that)
And if you randomly walk up to talk to him? He’ll listen. He won’t really say anything but Markus will nod along while mental remembering things you’ve said.
Affection will have to be initiated by you. And even then he tensed up. Before awkwardly looking at you.
And then very slowly trying to return said gesture.
I think the most amusing time you’ve had throughout is the one time you got rained on.
Came back to base and…well as anyone would expect your hair was messed up.
But far not the first time Markus had seen thicker hair types.
but he’d be a lair if he said he didn’t like the way your hair sits naturally.
Maybe that’s why he gave you a brief pat on the back in passing that day.
