Visited the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford CT today. And it’s really a very very beautiful house! Aug 26 - A bit of levity at the Mark Twain House😆

Aug 26 - We toured the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Connecticut. It was the home of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) and his family from 1874 to 1891. Clemens wrote many of his classic novels there including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Pictures were not allowed inside the home, but it was beautifully restored - elegant, but not gaudy like some of the others we've seen. The tour was unique in that it was not only about the life of Clemens, but it also covered his family life with his three daughters.
