With Devoingo, Danny really is incredibly protective and caring with Mark during the whole thing (especially the birth. Danny refuses to leave his side during) because I really believe that they have a loving and wholesome relationship. But with Jerk, I feel like Jerry in particular refuses to see their relationship as anything but casual (he's secretly in love with Mark but is so weird about confronting those feelings that it causes him to be like this) so he really tries to put on a "well you're on your own buddy" attitude towards Mark's pregnancy to disguise the fact that deep down he wants so badly to take care of them both.)
with devoingo mpreg how do their respective bands react?
With the Boingo guys, I imagine they respond to the news fairly casually. Just a general collective vibe of "Hey cool man. Congratulations." Maybe someone starts making all sorts of jokes about Danny's impending fatherhood and doing what he can to offer moral support to him.
Devo on the other hand are all on the verge of shitting themselves because Mark hasn't slowed or calmed down since becoming pregnant and so every day together is just endless amounts of keeping him from hurting himself or the baby. (Because I honestly believe that even while hugely pregnant and about to give birth, Mark would still attempt his stage antics). Despite that, they're all generally pretty excited for the baby spud to arrive.
Mark strikes me as the type to be so detached and calculated about his own labor that he just goes up to Danny calmly and tells him his water broke in the same tone that you'd use to remind someone to take out the trash. Then he just leaves.
Okay so yeah, Arlo is Jerry and Mark's first kid and he was born in 1974 so just imagine little spudbaby Arlo watching his weird art dads playing around together. They probably try to include him in their projects as much as they can. Also just think about 1974 Mark abd Jerry becoming new parents in general.

How do you think they would feel about the breast tenderness and growth that usually comes with pregnancy. I’m a firm believer that mark has sensitive nipples already but with pregnancy that’s turned up to a hundred.
As a fellow sensitive nipple Mark believer myself, I imagine that the heightened sensitivity must have been such an ordeal for him to the point that he could hardly stand wearing a shirt. The growth was probably subtle enough to not completely derail his entire state of being but those who noticed ✨️noticed✨️
Overall I think he'd be pretty unbothered by the chest growth and he'd definitely appreciate the attention it gets him from his partner, but yeah the sensitivity would have him laying in bed shirtless and sulking becsuse even a gentle breeze is enough for him to feel it in his bones

A while back I wrote some bits and pieces on this, particularly touching on the idea that while Mark loves the idea of carrying and giving birth, Danny is pretty uncomfortable with the thought of himself pregnant (in my own writing anyway, please interpret him however you want) so when the topic of kids was brought up, it wasn't really even up for debate which one of them would take on the task of being the seahorse dad.
Now the HOW is something I leave open to interpretation because there's a lot of ways you could go about this. From the ordinary like threesome with specimen donor or home insemination with said donation, to the fun and kooky like magic Tdick or alien intervention. I myself am a trans woman so i'm leaving this to the trans guys to contribute their thoughts and suggestions on the subject. But make no mistake; However you choose to go about it, Mark DOES end up pregnant in the end.
