Now wasnât that just his luck, to get stuck sharing a dorm room with a pixie. âIt doesnât seem better than that,â he murmured in response, chocolate eyes moving over the femaleâs form before coming to rest on her face. Fairies, in his opinion, were nearly as bad as angels, although usually less pompous they all had a faint, nearly sickly honey-like smell to them, to Mark at least, that he associated with the taste of their blood. Fairy blood had never done him any good. âThank you,â he could attempt to get along with her he supposed, until their personalities clashed, or until he couldnât stand he underlying sweetness of her scent that was. âMark Tuan,â he introduced himself, holding out a hand for her to shake.
The creatureâs murmured words didnât go unheard by the pixie, although she didnât take it personally. Besides, sharing the same sentiment might be a way for them to co-inhabit peacefully. A smile crept from the winter pixieâs lips with her rough and overly calloused cold hand reaching out to take his in a firm shake. âNevaeh White,â she initially said, quite content of his favorable behavior. âItâs nice to meet you,â she said sincerely before withdrawing her hand, crystal blue eyes making an abrupt contact with his warm brown eyes before diverting it to nowhere in particular. She couldnât seem to look straight in his eyes even if she tried to. âBy the way, I have just defrosted the room,â she informed. Lucky he just came right on time after the winter pixie changed all the ice furniture to wooden ones during the weekend. âIt is still freezing cold, colder than the outside winter temperature since it had been in that state for as long as I can remember, but itâll be tolerable-- I hope. The room is all the way to the end of the hallway.â Nevaeh pointed out. âNeed help carrying your things?â she then offered. âThis floor is fairly empty. No one would assist you if you donât take mines.â
