The only good thing about running out to get Luca’s coffee was that he could grab himself a pastry on Luca’s dime. Shit was still tense with the Italians, as far as Matteo could tell - Luca hadn’t told him much of anything, but he wasn’t exactly one to push. Taking a bite of the croissant in his hand as he crossed the street, he stopped to look at a display in the window of a record store. Not that he could afford a record player, or records in general, but he was intrigued, to say the least. Intrigued and distracted. Thinking deeply, not necessarily about records.
