“jess  ---  son,”   he’s spoken to the BIG THREE,  shared his ‘news’ with them  ---  now jess is the only one who’s left.  and it’s harder.  harder than sharing it with his own children.  jack’s well aware what jess has dealt with,  the men who’ve been in his life,  and the mere idea that he himself might share traits with them?  traits that he has to share now,  out-loud,  and vulnerable?  it leaves his stomach in knots.   “i have to talk to you.  it’s  ---  it’s about some pretty serious stuff,  okay?  you got a few minutes?”
