Damien was supposed to go over to Joseph’s house that day. It had to do with a bake sale, and Mary asking Damien to help. He begrudgingly said he would, but it was just them that day. Him and Joseph, no kids. They were out with Mary that day, and Damien... well he’d never really had a chance to get to know Joseph. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad... maybe, they were neighbors, they knew each other in a fairly friendly way, but they weren’t close by any means. Finally he wrung the doorbell and waited patiently, fully dressed in his Victorian style clothing as always. He held his hand up as he always did when meeting with someone, poised and ready.
