Looking over a few plans that the Carpentry Guild sent over, Solomon was lost in thought when the door creaked open and his gentlemen-in-waiting stepped inside. It wasn’t until the male’s shadow loomed over his papers that he turned to look over at him, hint of a smile upon his lips. “Good... I’m glad you’ve arrived,” he stated as he grabbed his stack of papers and organized them together before he rolled them into one bundle. Rising to his feet, he grabbed a tie and tied the plans together as he headed for his wardrobe, pulling out his red cloak with golden suns encrusted on the silk fabric.
“While I do plan to help our sister kingdom recuperate from this vicious storm, our own shores require work and I have decided to head to the coastal cities to help them rebuild what was broken.” Setting his cloak in place, the tattoo on the back of his neck in full display as the cloak was fitted so that it was swoop low enough to show off the tattoo that display his heritage, he set the plans aside before he looked at his dear friend. “I was going to ask if you would join me. It would be a good chance to get your hands dirty and work on that strength... Who knows? Perhaps a knight or two will be there and may be impressed with your diligence and offer you a squireship.”
