Send š for a interrupted kiss
While Nik enjoyed Gryffindor tower, he couldnāt help but wonder as to why Marcus was so quick to always suggest that they spend the night in his own house. It truly didnāt matter to him. It wasnāt like he was here to make friends. Hell, he wasnāt even meant to be courting but still heād found Marcus on his arm almost as if it were meant to be a thing since the dawn of time. But tonight, Nikolai needed to be where he was meant to be. Sebastian was supposed to be coming around for a visit. The Headmaster was not all too impressed with the timing, so close to the full moon. One wolf was bad enough, but two? One an Alpha and he, the beta, together again. Well it didnāt spell the most forthcoming attitude. But still, it was necessary to keep their bond strong.
Iāve got to study tonight. I promise Iāll make it up to you in the morning.
There was a very good chance that this was not going to work. The owl and note. Spending any amount of time away from his boyfriend was quite distressing. Nearly as distressing as the thought of his Alpha coming tonight. Actually he was fairly certain they were pretty evenly matched. What have you gotten yourself into? Nik let out a soft sigh at the thoughts and tried his damnedest to get it together. It was one night. Not the end of the world.
Though he was not surprised when the Lion came to stand in the Slytherin common room. It was well after curfew and that coy little smirk did not help Nik to tell him to leave. No. Marcus had the note in his hand and he looked at it and then Nik and back again. āNice try.ā Marcus crumbled the paper, tossing it into the half flames of the grand fireplace. The smirk that pulled on Nikās face wasnāt his normal. No, this was one to where he was amused and also annoyed. Not that he was looking at Marcus, but that heād asked him to stay and he didnāt.
The book on his lap slowly fluttered shut and heād found himself sending both arms across the back of the sofa as theyād taken to a good old fashioned stare down. āAnd here I thought you adhered to all of the rules of the grounds.ā He teased, his head tipping slowly back as Marcus crawled onto his lap and squeezed his thighs around Nikās waist. That moan that escaped his lips caused a truly wicked one to spread over the Lionās features and Nik knew he couldnāt deny him. There was still time. There had to still be time.
Marcusā hands went to his shirt, jerking him forward. āDonāt do that to me.ā His tone was soft but still firm. Nikās short nails dug into the material and heād snapped his teeth at the other, leaning into him now. Their lips just hovering over one anotherās at this point. Eyes still trained on one another is if theyād known looking away would give the other the upper hand. āIām sorry.ā Nik spoke softly and found himself leaning in flush. Their lips lightly grazed one anotherās and Marcus was simply not satisfied with it. His fingers clenched the fabric of the Slytherinās shirt and jerked him again. Their teeth clanked but neither could be bothered to stop before theyād gotten to kiss.
Heād never experienced this sort of passion before. Not until Marcus Coventry had entered his life had he truly experienced something quite this ⦠primal. Every fiber of Nikās being ached to be with Marcus. Itād been this way since theyād first met and he wasnāt one to deny himself. And he would never deny Marcus. So long as he could help it anyway. Their kiss didnāt stop. No, their tongue were now very much involved and Nikās hands had come to hold onto Marcus just as they should always. Shirts became untucked and the soft slaps of their lips could be heard echoing back to them from the common room walls. How was it at seventeen heād managed to find everything heād wanted? Marcus was truly ā¦. well he couldnāt get into that. His Alpha was on the way and he knew Marcusā scent would still be lingering, for the time he just wanted to enjoy his boyfriend and ⦠well, he wasnāt saying no to how this had all started out.
āNikolai.ā The voice was quite stern and gave no leeway at all. Nikās head jerked from Marcusā. Their lips parted and heād exhaled hard. He hadnāt expected him to walk into the school. And was even less thrilled heād managed to find him with ease. Or was this how it was meant to happen? He couldnāt imagine the Headmaster would have allowed this. No this was all Sebastian. Heād have his way or nothing would happen. At least nothing good. Nik slowly untangled himself from the Lion, leaving him to lay on the sofa and stood tall. He didnāt look down at him though he knew Marcus was boring holes into him as heād turned away. This wasnāt normal behavior for Nik, not when itād concerned his boyfriend anyway. āStay still.ā He spoke under his breath to the other.
Those eyes were damn near glowing by the time Sebastian and Nikolai had finally looked at one another. Nik was in trouble, that much as clear. Though he seemed to stand a better chance being inside, and ⦠well, with eyes on them. And Sebastian hadnāt missed the defensive stance Nik had taken. He also hadnāt missed out on the looks exchanged between them or the amount of ā¦. well he was well aware what his beta had been up to and it shown on his face how disappointed heād become in a matter of moments.
āI think itās best you tell him to go.ā Sebastainās tone was unwavering and further proved to Nik exactly how much trouble he was in. The quaking behind him was enough to keep him from sliding into complete obedience. His brow furrowed and Sebastian instantly lowered his head, a growl escaping from his lips. āŃŠµŠ¹ŃаŃ!ā He shouted and sent Nikolai back a step or two in Marcusā direction. He knew heād have explaining to do after the fact. And he was certain as soon as he turned around the flurry of questions was going to be unmatched.
āMarcus?ā Nik finally spoke, his eyes still trained on Sebastian. He wouldnāt look away, more like couldnāt. The fact that the Lion didnāt respond was cause to hurry this along. Sebastian loved a lot of things and invoking fear was right at the top. The man behind him wrecked of it. It almost made Nikās jowls start to water but he couldnāt. He couldnāt bear the thought of his fear quenching some animialistic tendency. āYou need to go.ā His arm outstretched and he turned to look over his shoulder. Those blue hues gleaming with confusion to meet his own. āI need you to go. I canāt explain but I promise to come find you after.ā
The fury of his voice filled the space enough for all three of them and Nikolai knew this was not going to end well. All he wanted was for Marcus to listen to him. Just once. Normally heād have found it endearing but tonight the stakes were higher than just a more aggressive romp in one of their beds. Nikās face turned back to Sebastian and he felt his lip pull up, snarling as the Alpha hunched down lower, threatening to take care of the problem himself. āMarcus.ā Nikās voice was deep and unchanging. He felt the halt shake the Lion to his core and while he hated it, that sort of dominance was necessary for this moment. āGo!ā
The sound of scuffing shoes going backwards through the common room was all the answer he needed. Nikolai knew he owed Marcus. He owed him so much for just this alone but the rest? Well heād have to get through Sebastianās visit and whatever was left Marcus was welcome to tear to shreds. So long as he could keep hold of him ā¦. Donāt even think that.
āOh please get over yourselves. Heāll be fine.ā
