Marc Chagall, born at Belarus as Moishe Shagal at 1887, Russia was also an early modernist and an internationally recognized painter. Iconography permeated all his functions. Getting transferred to Paris he befriended artists that were French and began experimenting with Cubism. He developed a clear language of committing dreamlike vision. Chagall's work, gravitated based on associations and unlike his contemporaries, failed to adhere to the principles of logic. The Village and I is 1911. Aside from his paintings, he's globally recognized for his works in printmaking and glass.
