A mãe do River era uma modelo muito famosa, se apaixonou pelo rei da máfia, então ela teve que desistir da sua carreira promissora para poder ficar com o homem que gostava. Enquanto o rei da máfia ele ama demais a mulher, só que por ser o rei da máfia, tem que fazer coisas que não condizem com o amor que sente pela mulher e filho. Essa é uma história que já está me deixando sem chão, estou adorando esse livro. Um romance com muita máfia e surpresas. Lynx não pode dar a atenção desejada e merecida pra sua família. Depois de uma parte bem significativa da história, River tem que escolher seguir os passos do pai ou ficar longe, sem nenhum contato. River faz sua escolha. Estou adorando, tenho altas expectativas sobre esse livro, só por ter sido escrito pela Clara. Essa história já me passou a solidão que River passa por não ter o amor da mãe, e nem do pai. TRIP- Second year Creative Art Practice Exhibition
Our second year art exhibition took place lastnight (4/4/17) at The Hide on Scotland Street Sheffield. Needless to say it was a great success and after spending the morning setting up and preparing the space, we had a great selection of work on display and put on a great evening of flowing Lambrini, wine, great artwork and soulful music.
For my work display I hung my 6 macramé baskets with the handmade ceramics on the red pipe high up near the ceiling, complete with a lush succulent inside each pot. I hung them in a staircase order, having the lowest pot nearest the wall and the highest nearest the pillar. The highest hanging pot was just above eye level, allowing the visitors to peek closely at the detail on the bowl. I displayed my mugs sat in the shelf on the wall close to the hanging baskets. The corner was a great environment for my work and I was very pleased how they looked in the space.
I had several kind comments from people who suggested that I sell my pieces. I am overjoyed at this idea and to know that people really would want something I have handmade in their home makes me very content in knowing that this is exactly the practice I should be doing and that I love.
Overall, I really enjoyed lastnight and to have done it with some other very talented artists has been a great learning curve about compromise, team work and supporting eachother. However I am so glad its done and out the way now and I can now move onto my next ceramics collection!

I am now exhibition ready, these are my 6 hanging pots which I am going to hang from the ceiling in a section of the exhibition space. I am going to have one of my larger bowls and my mugs on a plinth close by so the whole collection is seen together.
What’s left to do now?
So I need to collect 4 more cactus/plants to put in the hanging pots. I also need to make sure we have a ladder so that I can put up my pots high in the space, I am ladder trained so the Health and Safety rules are fine for this. We also need to send the payment for the exhibition venue hire across to the owner of the Hide.
I am pretty much sorted for the 4th April, TRIP is going to be AMAZING.
