marc is surprisingly shy, takes a long time to trust people, lets very few people into his house or whole heart, needs alone time on a regular basis and also to process his emotions (his depression swing). it's still hard to judge socially because he has a very intense inner circle but there's many people in it and a much larger circle of people he gets along with.

i completely forgot about the depression swing for a second there. you're completely right!
it's very clear that marc is. really loud lmao. but that obviously doesn't mean he's automatically extroverted. to what you said, yes, his #avoidantbehaviour and issues with trusting people definitely also affect his relationship with others. i'd say there are so many layers to him, and we get to see maybe the first one, and the only one who has seen most (keyword: most) of them is alex. actually, now that we're aware of the swing thing, it's even easier to say he's more introverted because i feel like as he's gotten older (and the things he's gone through) he's become less and less interested in social circles (evidence: no tiene amigos, this wdw race, and his rejection of letting people too close to him esp if he starts to see them as a threat)
imo young marc, specifically rookie marc, is the most extroverted version of him we've seen. moto2 and kid marc were probably the most introverted, and people have said that as a child marc was really quiet and reserved. moto2 marc just didn't gaf like. as for now, i think the injury, combined with the 2015 of it all really impacted how he approached social things as a whole.
not to say he couldn't be extroverted, he's able to gel with basically anybody. and yeah, marc does WANT to be loved. it's a very imp part of his psyche for analysis. but maybe that is expressed through not wanting to be hated as opposed to. yk. developing a friendship with everybody in the paddock.
he quite literally crafted his inner circle by hand and obv yes there are degrees to which he's close to them all individually. i do think he gets along w people quite easily but probably that's not smth he actually actively goes out of his way to do. like he's friendly and will have polite small talk! and also be an asshole. if he likes you enough. you're promoted to level 1.5 then (hi pecco)
