So not only did I do it myself taking out 1,998 monsters on my own (collecting half a million mesos and exp as a result), I also took out over 500 drakes while I was at it, and collected 75 pieces of dragon skin (a total bitch of an item to grind for): 50 for one quest, 20 for another, and 5 to sell in my little merchant shop. Not to mention all the extra mesos I made by collecting drop items and then selling them all.

"Do it yourself 8D" Yeah. You lost out on a chance of getting a shit ton of exp, mesos, and also the opportunity to gain an ally and make some friends.

MapleLegends is such a fun game, and so much more than the statistical nature of gamer culture gives it credit for.

"This quest doesn't offer enough exp!"

"That quest is a waste of my time!"

What waste of time? You mean the time you're already wasting on a multiplayer server? Everyone on MapleLegends are all collectively wasting time as an escape from the pressures of reality.

Take the gamer goggles off and look around. You're alone in your environment right now. A lot of us are probably in our rooms and haven't gotten enough sun today, or drank enough fresh water for our health. There is no time to waste in this game.

It's fun to play, and that's all that matters.
