Mapledawn: A loyal warrior who’s always answering the call of adventure. They will often be found sat in a tree, looking at the world around them, 15/10

Canada Steamship Lines began operating the vessel and it was renamed Mapledawn. CSL took over ownership in 1920. At the end of 1923 the vessel was taken to Collingwood and rebuilt for the upper lakes trades. Her new length was 356 feet as shown here. But Mapledawn did not make it to the end of 1924. Carrying a load of barley she was wrecked off Christian Island in Georgian Bay on November 30th. Winter storms spelled her doom. The wreck remained there until 1942.
