“Come here often?” Sabrina said in a playful tone of voice, just after pulling her step-brother into the nearest closet of their family lake house. Their families are mingling and drinking out in the backyard, and Sabrina couldn’t stop herself from getting some “quiet” time with Olly. “I’m ready to strangle my aunt Nancy. She told me I was...frizzled. What the hell does that even mean? Can you believe that? Me, frizzled.”  

Connor’s eyes looked up and down his friend’s appearance--he decided that he looked good in that jacket. He then perked up at the suggestion. “Really? The apple orchard?” he repeated, smiling. “I’d love to! Uhm...I mean, only if you wanna. I know you just said you like doing things with me, but c’mon. We both know that’s half of a lie.”
