I mean look at this crew!! This was my first time to work as Mike Elizondo’s engineer. I’ve been a fan since forever. Great to work with him on this an many other recordings since. Not pictured (probably because he was taking the photo!) was Zach Stokes, who killed it as the assistant engineer. And Lake Street Dive...The best of humans. It’s truly a class act for an artist to make a post like this. It takes teamwork to make the dream work, but it’s rare for the artist to be so gracious and show appreciation for the whole team like this. These guys are so talented and truly egoless. This is how it’s done. LSD - Raising the bar for making records and being good people. Check out the new record, Obviously, out today!! #Repost @lakestreetdive ・・・ Many hands: A year ago, when the tracking was all finished for #Obviously, we took this photo before saying goodbye. it was the best of times and it was the BEST of times. working with @bikejunkie72 was as much a free-wheeling playground of possibilities as it was learning how to focus down in the minutest of perfections. there would be no Obviously without him (that much should be obvious) and we are grateful for the experience. hard work and joy don’t often go hand-in-hand. such things are rare. but that was just everyday in the studio with Mike. A great person, a great producer, and a great friend. And we never ran out of peanut butter pretzel bites. and the most honorable of mentions to our engineer, @lawsonwhitemusic , who made sure we sounded good before we even touched our instruments and who worked through tornadoes, hurricanes, and agues to ensure that we *kept* sounding good. #ObviouslyLSD #Obviously #manyhands (at Nashville, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMVXpdVhE0K/?igshid=6irmqj72r4dg
