dope yourself up with cold medicine [do yourself a favor and buy the daytime/nighttime pack

cycle through drinking hot tea with honey [soothes your throat], soda [soothes your stomach and in my case the acidity always seems to alleviate some of the mucus in my throat], and water [i prefer room temperature or warm water because it's nicer on my throat. The point here is just to stay hydrated]

If you have a humidifier, now's a good time for it. If you don't because you live in a humidifier [like Savannah], then just breathe in the steam over your hot tea in through the nose, out through the mouth. Sounds silly but it really makes me feel better.
