MP3 Download: https://soundcloud.com/trass84/sandhikala-sajak-1-sarasvati-anuprama-feat-kt An insert song for an Indonesian webcomic, Mantradeva ep75 https://www.webtoons.com/id/fantasy/mantradeva/episode-75/viewer?title_no=829&episode_no=78 Sung by the villain character Rangda, this song is a part of the mantra 'Sandhikala' which consists of 8 verses. The first verse, Sarasvati Anuprama (Sarasvati's Knowledge), represents creation and gives Rangda the power of Fire, summoning the sun by singing it. The lyrics are quotes from an Old Javanese poem, Kakawin Bhāratayuddha writte in the Kawi language, a ceremonial language of ancient Java, Bali, and Lombok. The song itself is inspired by Gending Basur, a song that is sung during wayang calonarang performance because of its mystical and horror elements. This song consists of praises and mantras to challenge the Leak (Ghosts/Bhuta Kala) and it's said that Leaks will come for whomever sings this song in the middle of the night. Mantradeva is an adventure webcomic in LINE Webtoon with a balinese setting, inspired by its culture and folklore. It's currently only available in Indonesian. An English translation might be possible if enough demand presents itself. Rangda is the demon queen of the leyaks in Bali, according to traditional Balinese mythology.
