It has been fantastic 6 weeks teaching my Summer School (Introduction to Fashion & Textile) here in Oxford @oxfordroyale. Life is much slower but it is equally rich, full of intellectual insights, and I am honoured to be working with such a lovely team. I was also moved by the final project my students designed and made in their final term. I took them to see Fashioned From Nature exhibition @vamuseum and ask: 1) How can we design a more sustainable fashion industry? and 2) How do we learn from the past? All given materials came from our local @oxfamgb. This is part of my upcycling project and it feels good to give back to our community.
