okay this is beckett lawrence corrigan ( nee king )

he only goes by beck though, if you call him beckett he will snap its like the one thing that makes him actually mad ( and literally nothing makes him mad ) 

he was born & raised in nottingham, england

his dad was a history professor named calvin king, his mums name was rose king she  was a writer that went by an alias to remain unknown

he had an older brother named abraham aka abe who is 4 years older than him

they were a good family, they were close and just lived happily

beck was always unbelievably shy, he kept to himself and was a total mama’s boy

when he was 15 his parents died in a house fire during the middle of the night, the boys got out but their parents couldn’t

it really kept beck back, he was scared of everything and everyone and it really just added to his shyness

when he got out of the house he had to jump out of a second story window and fell onto his hands where he broke both wrists and numerous fingers

he was always doodling, never really stopped – he loved all forms of art, loved galleries and reading about art it was and has always been a passion of his so breaking both wrists was really bad

it took him around two months before he picked up a pencil, paintbrush and charcoal but he fell back into his art 

beck didnt really talk to anyone after his parents died, and if he did it was only to abe. no one in school, no one at shops -- he just wouldn’t talk 

abe was really worried about beck for a long time but never pushed him into anything 

at eighteen two major things happened in beck’s life -- he entered university for art, and he met eoin corrigan

he met eoin while he was out with some friends from school, he honestly hadn’t even wanted to go but for some reason he felt like he had too

and clearly eoin had been the reason -- because seeing him their was instant, it was falling in love completely and fully without even saying a word ( though he knew love didn’t actually work that way ) 

he spent the night talking to eoin -- something he’d never done with anyone since his parents died 

during the year that eoin stayed in london beck became more and more himself, and for a lot of it he considered not finishing school and instead travelling with eoin 

but he wanted to get his degree, wanted to have so much more with art and it had always been his dream -- he thought that they’d be strong enough to stand through the distance 

at 23 he’d been graduated for two years and working as an animator -- selling some art pieces on the side as when eoin proposed

of course beck said yes, and they eloped -- he never wanted a big fancy wedding anyways

after they eloped they moved to new york!!

generally speaking, beck is still incredibly shy. it takes him time to warm up to people, and he’s not exactly chatty. he talks more than he used to but, he’s never going to be the first to start a conversation

for the subplot he came because his husband asked him and that was it

eoin corrigan, born 1995 in kinsale, county cork in ireland ( because honestly, i am a bandit for always making niall fcs irish ok it has to be done ), to dermott corrigan, a marketing exec for an irish whiskey brand, and aine corrigan nee byrne, a teacher. he had a twin sister, aoife ( deceased - more on that later ) who was his built in best friend basically, you never saw one without the other.

he lived in kinsale for the first 10 years of his life, then his dad got a promotion and a relocation to new york and thus... they moved.

he had an interest in music from when he was young ( and a beautiful singing voice ), sang in the church choir back in ireland, and took up guitar and piano, getting more serious about it when they moved to the states.

at 14, his whole world changed when his sister passed away. he was the only one with her, they’d arrived home from school to find a man in their house trying to pilfer all their shit. aoife was the one to stumble across him and in a panic and shock, the dude stabbed her and fled. eoin did all he could, frantically calling 911 and then held his hands over the wound to try and stop the bleeding and to hold her chest closed, but it was too late, and he felt the moment her heart stopped beating.

he changed after that, didn’t see the point in doing anything without his best friend, but slowly but surely, he realised he should live for her, do all the things she couldn’t ( though, this did mean he developed a bit of a we all die someday better make it count kind of mentality ). wrote a lot of sad songs about his sister, and his focus shifted more to music.

then it came time to pick what to do after school, and he’d long since lost interest in attending college or even applying, and he decided to travel for a bit, to work out what he wanted to do and to play music and see the world. so at 18, he packed his bag, kissed his mum and dad goodbye and got on a plane to ireland.

it was while traveling that he met beck. it was his last night in london and he’d been working as a bartender in a dive bar when beck and his friends came in. and from that first moment, he just knew. he’d never felt so strongly for someone before, never connected instantly with anyone, and he delayed his travel plans and stayed a bit longer so he could get to know him.

he ended up staying in london for the better part of a year, working as a bartender and playing music in pubs, living in the smallest studio apartment. but he had beck and he felt like he was home. 

finally though, he pushed on with his travel, with beck meeting him whenever he could in whichever country he was in at the time. they decided not to break up and to just make it work — eoin didn’t want to stop beck from graduating college, and he was happy to continue on long distance. 

at 24, he proposed and he and beck eloped, and both finally lived in the same place. 

so onto the subplot, tba convinced him and michael to go crenshaw manor, and he invited beck along so that his two best friends could finally meet his husband. being a human disaster most of the time, eoin didn’t get his shit together properly and so had to delay coming out to the manor for a few days.  

personality wise, eoin has the patience of a fucking saint ( he waited for beck to finish school, and would’ve waited longer ), he’s so loyal ( he never looked twice at anyone else once he and beck started dating ), and he can be so stubborn — once he’s made his mind up, he’s pretty hard to sway. he’s perceptive, notices almost everything but doesn’t always say anything, instead just filing the information away up in that pretty little head.

BACKGROUND:

- Justice is the youngest of three siblings, Adrian (age 32), and TBA.

- Even though they have a big age gap between them, justice has always been close to their older siblings. They’re also the only ones in their family they’ve come out to as non-binary due to their openly unaccepting/homophobic mother.

- Growing up as the youngest for Justice meant always being watched. Their mother basically smothered them and hardly let them go out with friends or have any real sense of freedom. This was mainly because of their mothers parenting style and relationship when it came to Adrian, which was more so an outwardly negative one. 

- Nonetheless, it was still a struggle for Justice to express themselves and have an enjoyable upbringing in a toxic household where they were constantly watched and had views/morals they didn’t agree with drilled into their head. It didn’t help that during their early teenage years they began to discover their sexuality and identity, but to a mother who openly expressed her disagreement towards these subjects it seemed that Justice would forever have to live their life in hiding unless they made a change. This would result in some rebellion from Justice, such as sneaking out with friends and such in the middle of the night, or bringing a change of clothes to school – which seemed like the only place they could express their true self.

- Justice ended up taking advantage of the time they spent trapped at home. They constantly has their nose in their textbooks, did all of their homework, and went above and beyond in school to get the opportunity to graduate early. They needed a way to move out of the Regan house, it wasn’t an option any more, it was a necessity. 

- They were able to graduate from high school at 17 years old, finishing off with an impressive 3.8 gpa and applied to several colleges. They got accepted into all of them, but due to their mothers wishes will had to stay in state so they wouldn’t be that far away, even though they wanted to be so desperately. Unlike Adrian, who barely got any money for college, Justice was lucky enough to have more help from their mother and father, and they also received multiple scholarships which really made a difference.

HEADCANONS:

- Justice is only a few months shy from graduating from college with a degree in anthropology, however their education is currently put on hold due to their mothers death and their stay at the manor with their siblings.

- Their siblings, Adrian and TBA haven’t talked in years (reason yet to be determined). However, Justice never really picked “sides” and talks to the both of them. The only problem is, neither of them know Justice talks to the other. Guess some drama will be going down during their time of mourning…(and haunting that they don’t know about yet)

- Justice, even though resentment has built up towards their mother, still feels a sense of loss and sadness after her passing. They feel as though a part of them is missing in a way. After all, Justice’s mother was a huge piece of their life growing up.

PERSONALITY:

- They’re v protective and defensive over their loved ones ! Probably got this trait from their mother, but it’s nowhere near as crazy as that. When they truly care about someone, they just don’t want anything bad to happen to them, and when something does they try their hardest to fix it or make the situation better.

- Although Justice is very smart, they’re super duper humble and sweet ! They honestly think they couldn’t have had it in them if it wasn’t for their mother’s actions which them to graduate early and continue to further pursue an education.

- A serious goofball and the king of sarcasm. Justice has a super playful personality and loves to crack some cheesy “dad” jokes and recite some memes from time to time.

- Sometimes it is hard to trust people, especially those they’ve just met, because of their life growing up. They don’t want anyone to manipulate or control them like their mother did, but they try their hardest to push these thoughts away and be optimistic when getting close to someone.

WANTED CONNECTIONS:

- CRUSH. (female or non-binary fc) Your muse and Justice meet at the manor and almost immediately Justice is attracted to them, but tries not to make it obvious. They gradually become good friends and the feelings begin to grow stronger. With all the creepy shit going on, Justice finds comfort and safety in being with your muse. (We can talk about this more ooc! But basically just a super sweet romance ship is what I’m looking for!)

- FRIENDS. Justice could use some friends, especially since their siblings are probably about to have a huge fight … if your muse can relate to justice in any way (whether it be backstory wise, personality wise, etc.. hmu !)

- TOXIC FREIND(S). Someone who is a shitty friend to Justice and lowkey makes them think of their mother but they can’t really escape them because they’re in the manor together. (We can discuss more ooc!)

leonore “lux” cassis — yes, like from the raven ( nevermore ). her mum was a huge poe fan. born in 1997 to carlitos cassis ( a big time hollywood director ) and aline cassis nee viegas ( deceased so whatever ). an only child.

super dark bc i kill people like... i can’t help it... but the day lux was being brought home from the hospital after escaping the womb, they were involved in a car crash. her mum died on impact. 

a daddy’s girl, like not veronica lodge level also whenever she says daddy i die a little inside, maybe i use it too much sexually... but she’s very close with him, like its literally just her and him in their malibu beach house. feels guilty about her mum’s death and lowkey blames herself for it.

kind of fell into modelling? her dad worked in the industry but never really wanted her involved in it, but then she was discovered on the street by a casting agent when she was 13, and she did a few commercials and print magazines in like... teen vogue and stuff, but really started building a following on social media.

she never really thought about modelling as a career but it’s 10 years later and she’s still doing it and doing a pretty good job with it, so she’s sorta like let’s keep this gravy train running until i lose my looks. 

big time feminist. she likes to use her platform to speak out about that kinda shit and won’t partner with brands that she thinks don’t send the right message to her female audience. even if it does mean losing out on money. plus, it’s not like she needs the money, with her dad being... famous and stuff.

personality wise she’s a sweet lil bean! like a literally ray of sunshine. think like... remember when harry styles tripped over a dog and apologised to it? that’s lux. also can get into heated feminist debates / rants if you get her started. a heaux for the aesthetic as well. she does have a tendency to be a bit of a tornado at times, like rhys is 90% of her impulse control.

Background info !

nathan is the youngest of two boys. he was always the ‘problem’ child, the one who gave his any adult including his parents a hard time. he just didn’t enjoy following the rules, he didn’t like sitting still in class all day and he hated having to come home and do homework

his parents were stricter on him than they were on his brother, the golden child who could do no wrong. but really? his brother was the only person he’d listen to.

remy and nate were only two years apart in age, which meant their interests were almost consistently the same. nate looked up to remy like no tomorrow and wanted to be exactly like him, even with his aversion to the rules

something nate picked up on quickly from a young age was magic tricks. from the time he was five, he had a deck of cards and a quarter stuck in his pocket, keeping him entertained. as he got older, he got better and his skills became more elaborate, picking up on things like binding/confinement tricks and sleight of hand (as well as pick pocketing and lock picking)

in his early high school years, he had the misfortune of getting wrapped up with the wrong crowd and found himself doing a line from time to time

his parents found out about this and sent him to get help, and it was the first time he didn’t try to fight them on anything, even though he didn’t believe he had a problem

when he was sixteen, his parents found a small bag full of stark white powder, something he had been all too familiar with, except for this one time. 

his parents and brother accused it of being his no matter how hard he tried to explain that it wasn’t. this resulted in him being both disowned and kicked out of the house with nothing but the clothes on his back.s

nate’s friends were nice enough to let him stay on their couch for about a week or two, but eventually kicked him to the curb as well when they realized the drama he brought along

he never finished high school. instead he used his skills in magic to perform street shows and earn money that way with the occasional scammed tricks, pick pocketed watches and wallets for food and if he was lucky extra cash, and picking the locks to empty apartments and hotel rooms so that he wasn’t sleeping outside

there were a few years after being kicked out that he did find himself spiraling and dealing with an addiction to drugs, but something eventually sparked in him the need to get clean and he’s been working on it for a while.

he managed to find himself fairly stable, even making a bit of his name for himself on the street going by sawyer callahan, not wanting anyone to be able to trace him back to his golden boy brother.

over the last year and a half, nate managed to find a girlfriend, fully convincing her he was much better than he was, knowing she’d ask him to move in with her, craving the near permanent security she brought.

he heard his brother was going to be at the manor, and while nothing there would be of any benefit for him, he figures ten years was long enough for him to enjoy his only child life.

As for his secret, while he wasn’t present when the event took place, he was pressured and manipulated into posting the video online by people he, at the time, thought were his friends. A flagrant outcome, a divisive fallout, and disciplinary actions were taken.

Sometimes you watch old videos of yourself. The ones were taken by your older brother, by your mom. There’s something subjective about them, the camera angles, and the crisp sound, your own voice sounding so young. Your mom video calls every now and then when she’s not busy with the restaurant, you are in desperate need of a haircut or a shave, and when you see for yourself you call her back just to agree, to have that good ‘ol mother and son fun banter. You’re good friends with your dad, you’re his confidant. You look up to your brother because he’s quite the role model, he’s fun and witty and everything you’ve aspired to be.

Your childhood was good. You’re the son of Egyptian immigrants. Your father’s a biochemist, and your mother’s a chef; you clearly took after the latter, although you took a lot from the former, too. You’re appreciative and passionate about your roots, proud of your culture. You had good friends, participated in activities in and out of school.

meet rhys ryan ( talk about a name that sounds fake ) born and raised in liverpool, england

she was raised by her mum, eileen ryan, a waitress who had her at 17 

she never knew her dad and yeah okay, she has daddy issues

they lived in her grandparents house for most of her childhood

the next door neighbour was a boy named atlas garrison, and his family.

believe it or not rhys and atlas were actually born a few days apart, and their mums had instantly connected

which ended in the two of them being forced into friendship

in the start, rhys can’t remember ever actually liking atlas -- she used to think he was mean ( due to the fact he was always pulling her hair or making fun of her / telling her she wasn’t allowed to play with his toys etc. ) 

but really, it had been the classic boy teases girl thing

as they grew up they became best friends -- you’d never see one without the other -- they were constantly chasing after each other 

atlas had been sick their whole life though -- he had cystic fibrosis and he never really showed improvement 

they spent a lot of time in atlas’ room playing video games and joking around 

the girls at school had teased rhys her whole life about two things -- being chubby & being poor and occasionally the fact that she had no friends other then the sick boy atlas

it always made her weary of other girls -- as much as she knew it was just the girls she went to school with being mean

rhys and atlas got married at 18, she’s not even sure when they had decided to get married 

they actually were never a couple, not really. their marriage stemmed from the fact that atlas was getting worse and the doctors kept giving scary time frames and he had it on his bucketlist -- and who was rhys to turn down her best friend?? 

so they got married, and it just felt right in that they had always needed each other

their marriage lasted fourteen months, and then he passed away

being in the hospital so much with him at the end was really hard on rhys, she hates hospitals so much 

but near the end because he couldn’t even really play video games which for the most part had been the main thing they’d done -- so they started watching people on twitch 

after he died she had a hard time finding the drive to do things, she knew he wasnt necessarily considered a real husband to other people but he was still her best friend 

she started wearing their rings on a necklace, she always keeps it under her shirts 

when she was looking for something to do she just kind of fell into twitch 

she had loved video games her whole life and she had loved watching other people play so -- it just became a thing

she actually kind of blew up on twitch as in she was making real good money from it 

which made her decide to move to LA 

when she moved to LA she met elvira, madison, and lux

they changed her life honestly, she started to learn how to make new friends and feel connected with people when she didnt know if she’d ever get that again
