[21:36] <arcflash> When I was younger, the Cullslaws had this yearly tradition during Smissmass, where the current matriarch of the family would tell us the history of our family’s past matriarchs as a reminder of our heritage.

[21:38] <gungal> Aww that sounds nice

[21:40] <arcflash> Not really. It was dreadfully boring. I realized later in life that it was just another way to further groom us into taking over the company.

[21:42] <gungal> oh Im really sorry to hear that

[21:44] <arcflash> Don’t worry about it, it’s all in the past. Anyways;

[21:55] <arcflash> My mother told me that her grandmother tried to recruit Radigan Conagher in Slawter years ago, but he denied the offer because he was already tied up with the Manns. 

[21:58] <gungal> Wow petty much? I mean it sucks that he wasnt available but it seems like an overreaction on your mom’s part

[22:10] <arcflash> That’s not exactly the reason why the Conaghers became a sensitive subject in our household. It certainly didn’t help, but what really pushed my mother to the edge was an event that happened when she was only 12 years old. 

[22:24] <arcflash> She was having afternoon tea with her mother in the courtyard when all of a sudden, they heard a loud explosion in the house. A group of hired gunmen managed to break in through a window and destroy a lot of heirlooms. One of which belonged to the first Cullslaw matriarch

[22:30] <gungal> Oh my god was it one of the teams in Mann Co??

[22:35] <arcflash> Indeed. Our family business was quite the competitor back in the day, so Mann Co has been sending out mercs to try and sabotage us, but we were always trained for this sort of thing. The Manns couldn’t get to us even if they tried.

[22:39] <gungal> So did a Conagher just happen to be in the team that was gonna kill your mom

[22:50] <arcflash> Yes, they found out after doing an investigation. 

[22:55] <gungal> I guess your mom got pretty lucky she managed to escape right?

[23:06] <arcflash> Oh no, she didn’t run. No, my mother was too proud to do anything of the sort. She fought back by making a rocket launcher using only a hair tie, a thermometer, vinegar, and a trumpet case. She held them off before the rest of her siblings arrived for backup. 

[23:09] <gungal> youre joking right?

[23:13] <arcflash> No, I’m completely serious. My mother was a hard woman to be around, but she was remarkable. I'll give her that. 

[23:20] <gungal> Wow I didn’t know how deep the story goes, Ronnie. I mean I get the drama , but Im sure that Conagher on the team couldnt have known about everything that was going on between your families. I mean if Dell turned out to be a great guy maybe this Conagher just happened to be at the wrong place wrong time

[23:23] <arcflash> My mother’s right ear was shot off by Fred Conagher. He was on that team. 

[23:24] <gungal> oh

[23:30] <arcflash> Do you understand now? 

[23:35] <gungal> Yeah I get it. That is pretty bad…

[23:37] <arcflash> I swear to God, if you say ‘but’ after that sentence

[23:39] <gungal> Okay okay fine I wont say it

[23:42] <gungal> Howeverrrr I still think you should rethink your biases on Dell. 

[23:43] <arcflash> Seriously? 

[23:47] <gungal> Look, you’re making assumptions based on a surname when you havent even met the guy personally. 

[23:57] <gungal> I wouldn’t be batting for him so hard if he wasnt the real deal. He practically raised me in this company since I was first hired. I only had you and him lookin out for me ya know? So trust me when I say that he wouldnt be the type to do what Fred Conagher did.
