It’s probably the one thing neither of them want to hear, but something Stiles can’t keep from saying, because the obvious is in front of them both anyway. Stiles hands clench to the steering wheel so tightly so that they don’t shake, because FUCK. They’re fucked. He glances very briefly at Theo before staring out the windshield again.
“We’re out of gas. We’re out of fucking gas.”
And it’s snowing heaps out, which means it’s cold as crap, and Stiles only has a couple emergency blankets in the back of the Jeep. It’s not going to be enough - no way. It only takes a moment before he’s smacking his head against that same windshield, making the horn blare for a moment.
