Soothe your anxiety with the Serbian ambience of Subsided
“It feels extremely egocentric to meditate to your own music” mused Nemanja Vlahović, aka Subsided, on Twitter the other day. Maybe, but you can forgive him. The Belgrade resident makes music that is so absorbingly blissful that it’s almost impossible not to lose yourself within it.
Last year saw the release of Vlahović’s debut album as Subsided on Croatian label low income $quad. We’re eagerly awaiting new material here at MusicMap, but in the meantime Subsided recently uploaded a remix of Parisian artist Oklou (check back here tomorrow for an interview with her). Listen to his version of ‘Friendless’ below, and also check out Vlahović’s house and disco side under the moniker Manjane here.
