I kinda forget both Manic and Eclipse are great with kids
Like I forget that manic actively loves kids, especially when he was with Hip in the show. Eclipse is the same with the little Dark Arms. I really need to write a fic of them with the hatchlings because it would be so cute. I know Ryhgenta would ADORE Manic whole heartedly, but I could see the others plotting to murder the green hedgehog at first. Eclipse would find it very amusing.

Chapter Three of "Unexpected" is posted!
In this chapter, Shadow finds out Eclipse is going to hang out with Manic! Thus making the dark hedgehog enter protective big brother mode!
Manic takes Eclipse to an underground art club and encourages him to show his creativity! Manic also learns a small bit of Eclipse's history!
More Manclipse Headcanons!
Manic is a words guy. He uses pet names & compliments as a love language because Eclipse did NOT get any positive reinforcement as a child. He'd also sprinkle a lot of touch in there as well, since the darkling is most likely touch staved. I cannot see him as being a guy that really keeps his hands to himself.
Eclipse would be more action based. At first he really doesn't know what he's doing but he tries. Honestly he'd probably spend the first couple weeks just intensely staring at Manic before realizing the man isn't hooked up to the remaining hivemind and he has to show his affections.
Eclipse likes Manic because he's a chitchaty, loud and upbeat guy. Manic could talk for hours, and eventually it sometimes makes Eclipse feel like he's back in the hivemind. Humming and singing Eclipse to sleep is a very normal thing in their relationship, especially when he's upset.
I could also see Eclipse becoming a bit territorial/possessive after they become official. Like he's lost everything else but this man is HIS and he will not tolerate people getting close to his mate. This became a bit of a problem during his bands after hour events and being out in public.
When they are cuddling Eclipse is almost always little spoon due to Manic's abhorrent amount of quills, but also the face his bf can easily slot between his head spines and get comfy.
I'm so desperate for Manclipse content, like please I wanna hear headcanons and stupid fluff and dumb angst. Anything pleaseeeeeeeeee
