Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship

1) It’s real weird, right? Considering like how uncmfortable Jaina’s love for the Mandos and her closeness with Mirta makes people feel, it’s kinda odd, but I think MIrta is probably the cosest thing to a best girlfriend Jaina’s had in a long time. It’s got a lot to do with the fact that MItra just is. She’s never contrived or trying to hide her real self from Jaina. Sometimes they agree on thigns, sometimes they don’t. Jaina would have happily given ehr the what for for working with the Qrephs you know but she stiill respects that Mirta makes her own choices and they can have a civil relationship despite those differences. (Shes still getting an earful about Ves though. Please, Mirta, don’t hang out with that little punk.)

2) Mirta 100% was the one who got the few girls in her wedding and Jaina herself entriely blitzed for whatever passes as a bachellorette party in space. Jaina invited her and her friend came on planetwith plenty of booze and not one of them got up the next day without a hangover and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

3) This is hard canon divergence (see the above lol) but I refuse the idea that they stopped being friends because of Jacen. The whole reason they became friends was because Jaina needed help learning to fight her twin and win, and for the friendship to fall apart once that happened just because Jacen had hurt Mirta seems... off? For me, once Jaina had healed up a little, mentally and physically, she went to find her friend and make sure they were still good because she wasn’t ready to lose the few people she still had after all these wars.

“Oh?” Jaina eyebrows rose only marginally this time, having gotten used to Mirta’s occasional stealth smack on the ass early on in their friendship. Now she was just amused by it, but the first time she’d jumped and almost swung at the other woman before realizing it was just her friend. “Like what you see, huh? Well, sorry, you’ll have to talk the husband into sharing since I’m not taking that bolt.” She was teasing, of course, and by now even her husband was probably used to the way the two women joked around. “Missed you too, Mirta. Glad to have you back on planet. How’s things?

CARING FOR STUBBORN MUSES. - accepting

Jaina’s face was set in what could only be described as a pout. Of all the things to have happened... letting something big and heavy fall on top of her because she’d been too focused on their quarry was high on the list of embarrassing things she’d done in her life. What kind of Jedi just forgot to sense their surroundings? “They’re going to think I’m incapable. Might as well be an infant if I come back like this without even the bounty we went out to get.” She couldn’t afford for the clan to think poorly of her, particularly not Mirta’s grandfather. She needed the time to learn from them, from him, if she was going to survive. But limping along wasn’t helping either herself of Mirta, who was playing babysitter now rather than chasing down the credits fast escaping. “At least tell me I got the tracker on him. If not, I might just have to throw myself out of the airlock on the way back and save myself the mortification.”

1. Jaina is never entirely sure which one of them is the bad influence on which. She’s pretty sure Mirta’s a bad influence, but how would you know...??

2. Jaina really appreciates that Mirta speaks so much Mando’a around her. She knows it’s not intentionally for Jaina’s benefit, but she also likes that it helps her to keep up with her Mando’a.

3. She really cares what Mirta thinks about her. She tries not to, but she can’t help it. Mirta is just so freakin’ cool.
